Tom Chandler is poet laureate of Rhode Island emeritus. He has been named Phi Beta Kappa Poet at Brown University, and has been a featured poet at the Library of Congress and the Robert Frost homestead. His poem, Earthshine, is scheduled to be archived on the Moon as part of the Lunar Codex mission. He is also a songwriter and a short-story writer.
